We are a mercury-free practice.  Our fillings are only done with tooth-colored composite materials.

Many people still have silver/mercury fillings in their mouths from years past. Silver/mercury fillings are not pleasing to the eye, and we now know that silver/mercury fillings ultimately result in a weaker tooth structure.

New fillings, in our office, will always be restored with tooth-colored composite material. These restorations are esthetically pleasing and very strong.  The materials used wear like natural teeth and are very strong.

Dental bonding can also be used as a restorative procedure for teeth that are chipped, cracked, discolored, or misarranged, and is an alternative to veneers.

Bonding and fillings are typically completed in a single office visit.  Most people prefer these types of restorations because the restored tooth looks like a brand new natural tooth.
